Getting Patients Back to the Office

Due to COVID-19, pediatricians across the country have seen a significant decrease in sick and well visits for children. In Tennessee, we have experienced the same and vaccinations are down 39% in April 2020 compared to April 2019! We need to get the message out that delaying care and immunizations for kids may create problems in the short and long term.

In a recent member survey, you told us you were having difficulty getting patients in the office and communicating measures that have been taken to ensure safety as well as the importance of keeping appointments.

TNAAP, in conjunction with many other chapters across the country, has created resources to help encourage patients to get back in for check-ups, sick visits and vaccinations.
