BeHiP 101

This 3-hour office-based, physician-led training is designed for pediatric providers serving children in Tennessee with behavioral health concerns. This training session is facilitated by a board-certified pediatrician that will offer tools and strategies to screen for, assess, and manage patients with emotional, behavioral and substance abuse concerns. The curriculum will cover topics such as trauma-informed care, ACEs, PCEs, use of screening tools, office-based interventions, psycho-pharmacology, coding and more! This training is applicable to the entire clinical team as it aimed to improve care coordination, communication, and the overall workflow for these patients. Trainings are scheduled when it’s convenient for you and are provided at no cost. We also offer BeHiP QI opportunities for providers to obtain MOC Part IV.

BeHiP Provider Incentive Program:

TNAAP’s BeHiP 101 training program offers an associated incentive program for providers to participate in the training!  Practices who enroll will receive a minimum of $1,500 per practice for participation in a training (as funding allows).  Incentives are based on a sliding scale with larger practices being eligible for additional incentive payments based on the number of providers (identified as MD, PA and NP).
